Broome Peoples Church

is a ministry for Aboriginal people with a 6PM Sunday service

Most members of our Peoples Church live in Broome, but come from various communities across the Kimberley. Our aim is to share the good news of Jesus in a way that connects with the unique cultural backgrounds of Aboriginal people. We also seek to develop Aboriginal Christian leaders.

At our services we sing, pray and listen to the Bible. The style is pretty relaxed: most people dress casually and the music is ‘country and western’ in style. Just like other Peoples Churches, we regularly provide opportunity for members to ‘give testimony’ and share what God is doing in their lives.

Non-Aboriginal people can certainly come to the Peoples Church, however we encourage tourists to come to the 9:00AM morning service if possible. If you would like to come to a Peoples Church service, we’d love you to let us know. Just click ‘Contact Us’ and send us a message or give us a call.

CMS Missionaries Chris and Karen Webb serve the Broome Peoples Church. To find out how you can support their ministry, visit our Supporters page.
